A look back at key Michigan education legislation in 2023

With Democrats in control of the Michigan Legislature, a number of education policy changes and priorities they have long fought for became a reality. Reforms include a school aid budget, the removal of the A-F rating system for schools, and the repeal of the retention in the third-grade reading law.
