Dr. Brodnax’s research interests include education policy, policy diffusion, and computational social science. She specializes in data science, randomized experiments, cost-benefit analysis, program evaluation, and econometrics.​

Dr. Brodnax has previously worked as a data scientist, both as a freelance consultant and for organizations such as the Institute for Quantitative Social Science at Harvard University and Eli Lily Corporation. Her work has appeared in several journals, including Educational Evaluation and Policy Analysis and Political Research Quarterly.

EPIC works with state and district partners to create a targeted research agenda to learn which reform strategies are most effective, where, when and for whom.
