Gaps in Michigan student achievement remain wider than pre-pandemic norm, report finds

Using findings from the Education Policy Innovation Collaborative, the gaps between Michigan’s lowest and highest performing K-8 students are seen getting wider and students are falling further behind than what was shown before the COVID-19 pandemic. However, those that saw the most learning loss also have shown the strongest academic recovery.
