Michigan State University study gives guidance to schools as fall semester approaches

Parents and teachers are trying to prepare for a rapidly approaching school year that’s full of unknowns, while information and schooling options are changing along with COVID-19 numbers.

Back to school plans vary by district including plans that have kids returning to class rooms, continuing online learning or a hybrid of the two. A Michigan State University research center surveyed every school district in the state in April to see what was working well then, to inform what might work well this fall.
