Michigan teacher pay down 29% since 1995, creating ‘uphill battle’ for schools, study says

Michigan teachers have experienced a steeper decline in average salaries over the last 30 years than in any other state, and according to one recent study, that’s despite nearly three-quarters of Michiganders supporting paying teachers more.
