Michigan teachers are taking home less pay than they did in past years

According to the Education Policy Innovation Collaborative, there has been a large decline in teacher pay since 1999-2000 when adjusted for inflation. The Michigan teacher’s inflation-adjusted salary decline has been one of the largest decreases across the country.
