Blair Cox

Postdoctoral Scholar

Blair Cox is a post-doctoral associate in the Department of Education Foundations, Organization, and Policy at the University of Pittsburgh, working with Dr. Hayley Weddle. Her research explores setting and system level interventions and policies to promote equity in education. Dr. Cox grounds her work in community-partnered and strengths-based approaches, leveraging both quantitative and qualitative methods to integrate research into education decision-making across local, state, and federal levels. Prior to joining University of Pittsburgh, Dr. Cox attended New York University where she studied systems change and implementation science in research-practice-partnerships with schools and community organizations.

EPIC works with state and district partners to create a targeted research agenda to learn which reform strategies are most effective, where, when and for whom.
