Isabel Frum

Isabel Clay-Frum is a Ph.D. student in Urban Education Policy at the University of Southern California. She is broadly interested in the role of state and district policy and local implementation practices in shaping outcomes for K12 students, with a specific focus on multilingual learners classified as English Learners (ELs). At EPIC, she supports research on the impacts of Dual Language programs for students.

Isabel is a former high school educator with a Master of Arts in Urban Education from Loyola Marymount University and a Bachelor of Arts in English Education and in Economics from Swarthmore College. Her experience working in schools informs her research interests.

 

EPIC works with state and district partners to create a targeted research agenda to learn which reform strategies are most effective, where, when and for whom.
