Kevin Brown is a doctoral student studying Education Policy at Michigan State University. His research interests center around school finance, resource allocation, and educational equity for historically marginalized and disadvantaged students. Prior to attending MSU, Kevin worked as a Business Consultant at EY in Chicago where he specialized in Finance Operating Models and Finance Transformations. He earned a bachelor’s degree in Economic Consulting from Indiana University, as well as master’s degrees in business (M.B.A.) and education policy (M.P.P.) from Vanderbilt University.

EPIC works with state and district partners to create a targeted research agenda to learn which reform strategies are most effective, where, when and for whom.
