Sandy Frost Waldron

Sandy Frost Waldron earned her PhD in education policy from Michigan State University. Her research focuses on educators’ experiences with policy and the politics of education. Through her work with EPIC, Sandy currently contributes to teacher workforce research and has previously focused on Michigan’s Partnership Model for School Turnaround.  She has experience as an assistant professor at Southern Methodist University, as a middle school teacher, and as a school admissions professional. Sandy has also earned a master’s of public administration from the University of South Florida and a bachelor’s degree in elementary education and psychology from the University of Miami..

EPIC works with state and district partners to create a targeted research agenda to learn which reform strategies are most effective, where, when and for whom.
