Usamah Wasif

Post-Doctoral Research Fellow: Teacher Workforce

 

Usamah Wasif received his PhD in economics at the University of New Mexico (UNM). His research interests include the economics of education and economics of higher education finance, with particular emphasis on the impact of government assistance and policy on education outcomes. Usamah earned an MA in economics from San Diego State University and a BA in accountancy and economics from the University of Aberdeen. Dr. Wasif is a member of EPIC’s team studying the Michigan educator workforce.

EPIC works with state and district partners to create a targeted research agenda to learn which reform strategies are most effective, where, when and for whom.
