Report: How kids are taught to read in Michigan varies widely

The Education Policy Innovation Collaborative found that some of the materials used in reading lessons across Michigan elementary schools are not highly rated. Surveying 87 superintendents and thousands of teachers, it was found that many were not meeting expectations.
