Will Michigan hold back again on third-grade reading retention law?

Educators say they will not enforce Michigan’s controversial third-grade reading law that requires them to hold back students who are behind as state lawmakers move to pause the law another year in response to learning disruptions caused by the COVID-19 pandemic.
