EPIC’s Competency-Based Education Theory of Change

The Education Policy Innovation Collaborative (EPIC) will use a unified theory of change and combine multiple methods of data collection and analysis to understand how schools and districts throughout Michigan are are implementing Competency-Based Education.

EPIC works with state and district partners to create a targeted research agenda to learn which reform strategies are most effective, where, when and for whom.
