Michigan’s Partnership Schools: An Analysis of Round 4 Identification

In November 2022, the Michigan Department of Education (MDE) identified the fourth round of Partnership schools and districts. Round 4 is the first identification of schools since the COVID-19 pandemic, which paused the calculation of Michigan School Index scores for two school years.

This paper provides an overview of the schools that were reidentified and newly identified for inclusion in the fourth round of Partnership, as well as those that were released from Partnership status.
