Chanteliese Watson is a doctoral student studying education policy and K-12 educational administration at Michigan State University. Her research interests include Adult SEL, school leadership, teacher retention, and policy implementation. At EPIC, she assists the team studying Michigan’s Partnership Model of school reform. Prior to beginning her studies at MSU, Chanteliese worked as an elementary school teacher in Memphis, Tennessee. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in English from Howard University and a Master of Urban Education from Union University through the Memphis Teacher Residency Program.

EPIC works with state and district partners to create a targeted research agenda to learn which reform strategies are most effective, where, when and for whom.
