Jennifer Moriarty

Jennifer Moriarty is a doctoral student studying Education Policy at MSU. Her research interests include teacher recruitment and retention, grow-your-own programs, and diversifying the teacher workforce. At EPIC, she supports Teacher Workforce research. Before coming to MSU, Jennifer was a high school math teacher for 8 years. She has bachelor’s degrees in mathematics and economics from the University of Kansas, and a master’s degree in secondary education from the University of Missouri-St. Louis.

EPIC works with state and district partners to create a targeted research agenda to learn which reform strategies are most effective, where, when and for whom.
