Marcus Dockerty

Marcus Dockerty is a graduate student in the department of economics. His interests include labor and public economics as well as the economics of aging. His current work focuses on labor mobility and distribution in educational job markets to develop mechanisms to more optimally distribute teachers and resources throughout public school systems. Prior to his graduate career at Michigan State University, Marcus earned a bachelor’s degree in economics and political science from the University of Denver and worked as a research assistant at the Federal Reserve Board of Governors in the Financial Stability Assessment section.

EPIC works with state and district partners to create a targeted research agenda to learn which reform strategies are most effective, where, when and for whom.
