Seth Walker is a doctoral candidate in the Department of Economics where he studies labor and the economics of education. His current research studies the relationship between financial aid and student choice and performance in higher education. His work at EPIC focuses on evaluating the effectiveness of teachers with gifted and talented students. Prior to beginning his studies at MSU, Seth earned bachelor’s degrees in economics and music from James Madison University.

EPIC works with state and district partners to create a targeted research agenda to learn which reform strategies are most effective, where, when and for whom.
