Tyler Powell

Graduate Assistant

 

Tyler Powell is a doctoral student in the Department of Economics. His fields of interest are education and labor economics. His current research studies the impacts of students’ commutes on their academic achievement. Prior to beginning his studies at MSU, Tyler received a bachelor’s degree in economics from Case Western Reserve University and worked as a Research Assistant at the Federal Reserve Board and the Brookings Institution.

EPIC works with state and district partners to create a targeted research agenda to learn which reform strategies are most effective, where, when and for whom.
