Rural Michigan students are more likely to be back in their classrooms. Here’s why

Many urban Michigan school districts have high percentages of students learning remotely rather than in person – that is if they even offer in-person school options for parents. This is in stark contrast to some of Michigan’s most rural and smallest districts where a majority – albeit a much smaller number – of students are back learning in the classroom.
