EPIC’s research on the impact of COVID-19 on education is meant to help inform policymakers and practitioners as they make critical decisions for students and educators.
The COVID-19 pandemic has changed nearly every facet of our lives, including public schooling. In support of our partners in policy and practice, EPIC is focusing our efforts on understanding how education policy decisions in the face of the pandemic are affecting students, educators and the broader community.

Michigan’s 2022-23 Benchmark Assessments
This is the fifth report in a series prepared for the house and senate appropriations committees, the house and senate appropriations subcommittees on school aid, and the house and senate fiscal agencies. It is designed to help interpret and contextualize assessment results and students’ progress toward learning goals in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic.
